Pink has shared her opinions about Dr. Luke following Kesha's legal battle with the producer

As you’d expect, she didn’t have anything positive to say.

ELEVEN YEARS AGO, Pink worked with producer Dr. Luke on her album ‘I’m Not Dead’.

In the years that followed, numerous allegations of sexual abuse were made against Dr. Luke by singer Kesha and her team. On top of that, Dr. Luke had Kesha bound in a one-sided contract which stipulated that she could only release her next five albums if they had been produced by Dr. Luke and his label which is a part of Sony Music.

Some of the other allegations made against Dr. Luke were that he blackmailed his wife into getting an abortion by not speaking to her for six months and bragged about how he liked to get girls drunk and have sex with them.

Kesha gave testimony of being drugged and sexually abused by the producer on at least two different occasions.

In 2015, Kesha filed for an injunction to allow her to stop working with Sony and Dr. Luke which was denied a year later. She was forced to remain on the Sony label that she signed up to as a teenager in the early 2000s, but for the first time was allowed to work with new producers.

That is how Kesha managed to release her comeback song ‘Praying’ earlier this year.

Earlier this week, it emerged in an interview with Rolling Stone that Taylor Swift donated $250,000 towards Kesha’s legal fees for her case against the producer.

Pink, after previously working with the producer, also shared some comments this week. She told New York Times:

Regardless of whether or not Dr. Luke did [drug and sexually abuse Kesha twice], this is his karma and he earned it because he is not a good person.
I have told him to his face and I do not work with him. He doesn’t do good business, he’s not a kind person, he doesn’t do the right thing when given ample opportunities to do so and I don’t really feel bad for him.

Cosmopolitan speculates that Pink could be condemning behaviour that hasn’t ‘even come to light‘.

During her case, Kesha was supported by many celebrities, including Lady Gaga, Adele, Anne Hathaway and Ariana Grande to name but a few.
